Balenciaga Fall 2010 RTW

Nicolas Ghesquière always seems to reinvent his designs and his fall collection for Balenciaga was no different. The clothes were beyond haute couture  and completely futuristic echoing images of a cosmonaut and space odyssey. I loved the mix of textures and colors and the printed tops that seem to unfurl out of zippered skinny salopettes. It was a scientific yet organic look with zippered wings coming out of the back of dresses. The shoes looked like seventies formica blocked at the heel. I just love Nicolas Ghesquière and everything he does. So here are my favorite looks and a great video from style.com!
