Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 RTW


My favorite show so far. Christopher Bailey at Burberry clearly knows how to work the jacket. He showed some amazing coat choices that played with variations on volume and shape, like giant-collared shearlings, military-drab overcoats, and parkas. His python over the knee boots were fabulous making the models look extra leggy when paired with over sized coats and slimming shirt dresses. If over the knee isn't for you, Bailey showed a great alternative with boots accessorized with leather strap and buckle details. My favorites were the oversized beige peacoat and the navy coat with detachable bottom. Bailey showed a myriad of fashion options that were militaristic yet feminine. Forget the Art of The Trench, Burberry clearly has mastered the art of any coat. You can watch the show below:
